Rodent Infestation Cleanup:
Obscene volume of rodent debris
Bordering on Truly WOW.
The rodents had not only eaten the main engine belt but the firewall and hood insulation.
But wait, there’s more.
They nested throughout the engine itself.
And, they nested inside the air cleaner.
AND, and this is the most extreme, they nested INSIDE the hood, and throughout it.
Hours of nitpicking to find everything and a couple to flush inside the hood (or it would have to have been replaced) I was finally able to gain clear water from both side drain holes.
The stench dropped from a 100% down to a 5. Everything was disinfected with https://www.rmrsolutions.com/products/rmr-141-rtu-disinfectant
During the process we found that the mechanic that replaced the main belt, did not alert the owner to the clearly failed motor mount, the failed vacuum lines nor did they check the engine air box/filter.
Because this job was so intense, I will return to the vehicle and re-spray disinfectant again, replace the vacuum lines and check the engine codes (if any).
Call us if a rodent infestation occurs to your vehicle.
